▌Recently, Bill Polychronopoulos, the new Australian Federal Police (AFP) Commander China, along with his two colleagues, visited the People’s Procuratorate of Guangdong Province. Li Xuelei, deputy chief prosecutor of the provincial procuratorate, met with them on behalf of the procuratorate.

近日，澳大利亚联邦警察新任驻华指挥官保力彪先生（Bill Polychronopoulos）一行3人到访省检察院，省检察院副检察长李学磊代表省检察院进行会见。

▌Li Xuelei noted that although China and Australia are located in different hemispheres, exchanges between the two countries have a long history, and the friendship between the two peoples has endured over time. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations more than 50 years ago, the two countries have maintained frequent exchanges at various levels and in many fields. Mutual trust has continued to grow, and practical cooperation has deepened. He expressed the hope to further strengthen connections with Australian law enforcement and judicial organs, exchange personnel, promote mutual learning and sharing of experience, and work together to safeguard world peace and development.

李学磊表示，中澳两国虽然分处南北两半球，但交往源远流长，两国人民友好情谊历久弥新。建交50多年来，两国各领域层级交流频繁，友好互信不断增强，务实合作持续深化。希望与澳方的执法司法机关进一步加强联系，互派人员交流，促进经验互鉴，共同维护世界和平发展。
