▌Safeguarding Growth of Minors through Fulfilling Procuratorial Duties

▌Adhering to a “zero tolerance” policy towards all types of crimes against minors, Guangdong procuratorial organs prosecuted 8,105 individuals. A three-year special campaign against sexual assault crimes targeting minors has been continuously conducted to maintain a strong deterrent. In collaboration with the provincial education department, efforts to deepen legal publicity and education for minors have been intensified. Chief prosecutors at the provincial, municipal and county levels have consistently taken the lead in delivering the first lesson of the rule of law at the beginning of the school year. Methods such as establishing on-campus prosecutor studios and conducting prosecutors’ monthly campus visits have been explored, aiming to use the rule of law to illuminate the path of students’ happy learning and healthy growth.
