▌Guangdong procuratorial organs have unwaveringly pursued a holistic approach to national security, fully and accurately enforced the criminal policy of combining punishment with clemency in criminal prosecution, and resolutely punished all kinds of crimes. In 2024, the procuratorial organs across the province approved the arrest of 88,444 criminal suspects and initiated public prosecutions against 168,582 individuals. Severe violent crimes have been cracked down according to the law, with 15,035 individuals being prosecuted. Extreme and vicious crimes have been punished strictly, harshly and swiftly, with major cases handled in accordance with the law such as the one involving a man ramming his car into the crowd in Zhuhai, thereby effectively deterring crimes, reassuring the public and maintaining stability.

广东省检察机关坚定不移贯彻总体国家安全观，全面准确执行宽严相济刑事政策，坚决惩治各种犯罪。2024年，全省检察机关批准逮捕各类犯罪嫌疑人88444人、提起公诉168582人。依法严惩严重暴力犯罪，起诉15035人。从严从重从快惩治极端恶性犯罪，依法办理珠海驾车冲撞行人等重大案件，有力震慑犯罪、安定人心、维护稳定。
