▌Guangdong’s procuratorial authorities intensify efforts on civil procuratorial work in accordance with the law

　　▌Guangdong’s procuratorial authorities thoroughly implement Xi Jinping’s thinking on the rule of law, adhere strictly to the people-centered development philosophy, and proactively adapt to the occurrence of new changes. In order to effectively discharge their duties in accordance with the law, procuratorial authorities broaden the judicial relief channels, support aggrieved parties in instituting civil proceedings in people’s court, and especially help certain groups such as rural migrant workers in cities and the elderly protect their legitimate rights and interests. These measures have been widely concerned and fully affirmed by people from every walk of life, ensuring that the fruitful results in politics, society and law form an indivisible whole.

　　▌According to the work report of the People’s Procuratorate of Guangdong Province, in 2021, procuratorial authorities across the province handled a total of 698 cases to support certain groups including rural migrant workers in safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests.
